Part of the Itsumo service, this soup plate is distinguished by the particular line of the rim—an obtuse-angled curve, known as “Donkaku” in Japanese—chosen by Naoto Fukasawa as the hallmark of the entire series. This detail is not only visible but also tactile, making the dish pleasant and interesting to touch.
